Highlights

Three straight quarters, nothing next to Philadelphia's name. The Eagles scored all 10 of their points before the first quarter ended, then went silent — and Washington turned a 10-3 deficit into a 27-10 win that stopped feeling close by the end.

Jake Elliott's field goal opened the scoring and Saquon Barkley's touchdown stretched the lead to 10-0 inside the first quarter. Drew Stevens got Washington on the board, 3-10 after one. In the second quarter Stefon Diggs reached the end zone, his extra point levelled the game at 10-10, and Stevens swung the lead with a kick for 13-10 at halftime. The entire comeback landed inside two quarters of football. Barkley's score came with the extra point — the only touchdown Philadelphia would reach all night.

The second half just kept repeating the same sentence. Stevens kicked again in the third quarter, 16-10, and again early in the fourth, 19-10. Rachaad White's touchdown pushed it to 25-10, skipped the extra point, and Austin Ekeler's two-point conversion closed the night at 27-10. From the end of the first quarter onward, Washington outscored Philadelphia 24-0.

Drew Stevens was the spine of the win: a field goal in every quarter, four in all, 12 of Washington's 27 points. Elliott's early boot and Barkley's run were the only points the Eagles could find, and none of them came after the opening period.

Ten points in one quarter, zero in the next three. The Eagles wrote their whole game in the opening quarter and handed the other three to Washington.
