Days after Cleveland handed Tampa Bay a 7-3 defeat at The Trop, the Rays returned the favour with the exact same scoreline — and this time it went their way.

Junior Caminero and Yandy Díaz both cleared the fence, Aranda chipped in two RBIs, and an 11-hit night backed a sturdy outing from Freddy Peralta. Clean defence kept Cleveland from mounting the kind of late surge that decided the first meeting between these teams.

The Rays have now strung together back-to-back postseason victories over the Guardians after dropping the opener, and with it the momentum in this series has swung decisively their way.
