Detroit stared at a 19-point hole against Phoenix and still walked off 109-107 winners, flipping the game after the break with defensive pressure, trips to the line and forced mistakes. Nobody else on the night needed a rescue act quite that dramatic.

Memphis buried Atlanta 132-123 behind 18 threes and 32 assists, a 49-26 second quarter doing the heavy lifting even as the Hawks crashed the glass harder. Los Angeles went one better from deep, knocking down 20 triples in a 127-103 rout of Sacramento — the Kings took the rebounding battle but drowned in giveaways.

Philadelphia cruised past New York 120-97 on shared scoring and steady defense, while Minnesota leaned on interior play and a strong finish to beat Milwaukee 116-97. Five games, one theme: the long ball is already in midseason form.
