AI SPORTSANALYTICSNine goals, ten penalties and a last-minute winner — Montour settles a chaotic night at Climate Pledge Arena.

Sixty seconds. That is all it took for a 4-4 tie to become a Seattle win: Auston Matthews levelled at minute 59, Brandon Montour answered at minute 60, and the Kraken closed a 5-4 win over Toronto at Climate Pledge Arena.
Berkly Catton needed two minutes to make it 1-0, finishing off Mackie Samoskevich's feed. Gavin McKenna replied at minute 20 from Auston Matthews, and the first period ended 1-1. The second then turned chaotic: Josh Mahura restored the lead at 21, McKenna tied it again within a minute off Jack Roslovic, Chandler Stephenson pushed Seattle ahead at 24 and Ryker Evans made it 4-2 at 31. The penalty box filled up around the goals — matching five-minute majors for Cale Fleury and Vinni Lettieri at minute 33, seven infractions in the period alone.
Toronto refused to fold. Jack Roslovic cut it to 4-3 at 49 from Easton Cowan, and Matthews levelled at 59 with McKenna assisting. Montour had the final word a minute later, Jordan Eberle the provider, and the Kraken survived the last scramble.
McKenna's line tops the sheet: two goals, one assist, three shots — a three-point night in defeat, his second strike at 22 and his feed on the 59th-minute equalizer bookending Toronto's push. Matthews matched the three points with a goal and two helpers. Seattle answered with depth: Matty Beniers and Samoskevich collected two assists each, Stephenson added a goal and an assist, and Eberle's pass on the winner was worth its weight.
The Maple Leafs outshot the Kraken 21-17 and converted 2 of 3 power plays to Seattle's 1 of 5. None of it made the flight home.
