AI SPORTSANALYTICSTrailing 1-3, Salavat Yulaev scored three goals in ten minutes and Danil Alalykin settled it after overtime.

Ten minutes, three goals and a two-goal lead erased. Salavat Yulaev trailed 3-1 at the 39-minute mark, outscored Sibir 4-1 from there and left the Ice Sports Palace Sibir with a 5-4 win after overtime.
Sibir built it patiently. Pavel Tyutnev opened at minute 15 off Anton Kosolapov's feed, Darren Dietz doubled the lead at 21, and although Dean Stewart pulled one back for Salavat Yulaev within 60 seconds, Arkhip Nekolenko restored the two-goal cushion at 39, assisted by Dietz. 3-1 after 40 minutes, and the night looked settled.
The third period blew it apart. Denis Orlovich-Grudkov cut the deficit at 46 off Vladislav Yefremov's assist, Devin Brosseau levelled at 54 with Alexander Alexeyev setting up, and Sheldon Rempal — fed by Vadim Shipachyov — turned the game around at 56. Stepan Nikulin answered at 58 for 4-4, but overtime had the final word: Danil Alalykin, unassisted, at minute 65.
Alalykin's strike arrived with Darren Dietz serving a five-minute penalty taken at 65 — a sour end to a productive night of one goal, one assist and four shots for the Sibir defenceman. Anton Krasotkin stopped 35 shots for Sibir, Semyon Vyazovoy 33 for Salavat Yulaev, and both power plays clicked at 50%: Sibir 1-for-2, the visitors 2-for-4. Rempal finished with a goal and an assist, Alexeyev with two setups.
Sibir led twice and sat 13 penalty minutes to Salavat Yulaev's 4 — five of those minutes handed out in overtime. The extra point left on the visitors' bus anyway.
