Novak Djokovic and Alex de Minaur will contest the ATP Beijing crown — and neither man actually finished his semifinal. Djokovic advanced when Daniil Medvedev pulled out, while Hubert Hurkacz retired at 6-4, 3-2 to send de Minaur through.
