Novak Djokovic claimed the ATP Beijing title when Alex de Minaur retired early in the second set of a tiebreak-only final.

Beijing crowned a champion in the strangest way: Novak Djokovic won the ATP final when Alex de Minaur retired at 7-6(3), 0-1. The deciding set barely existed — one tiebreak, no breaks of serve, and the sharper return numbers settled everything. A trophy decided by a walkover in all but name.
The women's side was more emphatic. Iga Swiatek dismantled Iva Jović 6-1, 6-3, her return game never loosening its grip: 36 points won on return, five service breaks. Nikola Bartunkova needed three sets to beat Sinja Kraus, but 10 aces carried her through.
Ekaterina Alexandrova and Mirra Andreeva both cruised 6-2, 6-2, past Linda Noskova and Daria Snigur respectively — Alexandrova converting every break chance she created on Diamond Court, Andreeva piling up six aces.
